Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 13, 2025

1) Why This Policy Exists (Plain‑English Overview)

We wrote this Privacy Policy to explain, in clear terms, what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we share it, and the choices you have. It complements our Shipping Policy, Refund & Returns Policy, Payment Methods, Disclaimer, and Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information pages.

Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.

2) Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways — you provide it, we collect it automatically, or we receive it from partners.

A. Information You Provide

  • Contact & identity: name, email address, phone number.

  • Order & delivery: shipping and billing addresses, items purchased, order notes, returns/exchange details.

  • Communications: messages you send us (email, contact form, reviews, photos).

  • Account details (optional): login/email and preferences if you create an account.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Device & usage: IP address, cookie IDs, pages viewed, time on page, referring/exit URLs, clicks, cart events, approximate location derived from IP.

  • Technical data: browser and OS type/version, device type, network information.

  • Cookies & similar tech: used to remember preferences, measure performance, and (if allowed) support advertising and analytics. See Cookies & Preferences below.

C. Information From Partners

  • Payments: limited billing signals from Stripe and PayPal (e.g., authorization status; we do not receive full card numbers).

  • Shipping: delivery updates from carriers (FedEx/UPS/USPS).

  • Fraud prevention & security: verification results from risk‑screening tools.

  • Analytics/ads: aggregate metrics and interest signals from analytics and advertising partners.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (e.g., government IDs, precise geolocation, biometric data) and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age.

3) How We Use Your Information

  • Fulfillment & operations: process orders, ship products, provide tracking, and handle returns/exchanges.

  • Customer support: respond to questions, troubleshoot issues, and honor your requests.

  • Payments: prevent fraud, verify billing, and collect payments.

  • Site experience: remember preferences, improve navigation, and fix bugs.

  • Analytics: understand product interest (e.g., clogs vs. sandals) and site performance.

  • Marketing (where permitted): send service emails; with your consent or as allowed by law, send product updates or offers.

  • Legal & compliance: maintain records, meet tax and accounting obligations, and enforce our Terms.

4) Cookies, Preferences & Global Privacy Control (GPC)

  • Types: (i) strictly necessary; (ii) performance/analytics; (iii) advertising/retargeting.

  • Manage: Use the Cookie Preferences link in our footer to switch non‑essential cookies on/off. Preferences are browser‑ and device‑specific. Clearing cookies resets your choices.

  • GPC: We honor the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt‑out of sale/sharing for that browser.

  • Do Not Sell/Share: For additional choices, see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

5) When & Why We Share Information

We share limited information with:

  • Service providers that help us operate the site and fulfill orders (payments: Stripe/PayPal; shipping: FedEx/UPS/USPS; hosting; analytics; email; customer support).

  • Advertising/analytics partners to improve performance and show relevant offers (subject to your preferences and GPC).

  • Affiliates & business transfers in the event of corporate reorganization.

  • Legal authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We require service providers to use data only for permitted purposes and to safeguard it appropriately.

6) “Sale” or “Sharing” of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information for money. Some U.S. privacy laws treat certain advertising and analytics disclosures as a “sale” or “sharing.” You can opt out at any time:

  • Email [email protected] with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.”

  • Set your choices in Cookie Preferences (footer).

  • Enable the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser.

We do not knowingly sell/share data about consumers under 16.

7) Your Privacy Rights (U.S. State Laws)

Depending on your state, you may have rights to:

  • Know/Access the personal information we maintain about you.

  • Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.

  • Correct inaccuracies.

  • Opt out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising.

  • Appeal a decision if we deny your request.

How to submit a request: Email [email protected] with your name, email used on our site, and request type (Access/Delete/Correct/Opt‑Out/Appeal). You may use an authorized agent; we may request proof of authorization and identity verification.
Timing: We confirm receipt within 10 business days and aim to respond within 45 days. If more time is needed, we’ll notify you.

8) Data Security

  • Transport security: Our site uses TLS/HTTPS.

  • Payments: Card details are processed by Stripe (PCI‑DSS validated) using tokenization; full card numbers are not stored on renewealth systems. PayPal processes PayPal transactions.

  • Safeguards: Access controls, logging, and least‑privilege practices help protect your information.

No internet transmission or storage system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of material incidents as required by law.

9) Data Retention

We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above:

  • Orders & transactions: generally 4 years for tax, accounting, and fraud prevention.

  • Customer service records: 2 years after resolution.

  • Account data: while the account is active and up to 24 months after inactivity.

  • Analytics/ads cookies: typically up to 13 months, depending on partner settings.
We may retain limited information to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

10) Children’s Privacy

Our site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

11) International Visitors

renewealth is based in the United States and currently sells in the U.S. only. If you visit from another country, understand that your information will be processed in the U.S., which may have different data‑protection laws than your country of residence.

12) Links & Third‑Party Sites

When you follow links (e.g., tracking pages, payment gateways, social tools) to sites we do not control, their privacy policies govern. Review those policies carefully.

13) Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes to our services or legal requirements. We will post updates here with a new Effective Date. Continued use of renewealth.com after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
